How time flies...

I am posting because it has been so long since my last post. Quite a few things have happened in the last couple of weeks. We went to the zoo, and the kids had a blast. At least most of the time...

We rode the merry-go-round and the train, and the kids all loved that. They even got to ride on a tiger!!!



Ethan started getting really tired after a while.



It doesn't really look like he's yawning, but it is the beginning of a yawn. They were so much fun. I wish I had more pictures, but the battery on my camera died.



So it was an exciting and adventurous day!! Thanks to all of our friends for sharing the day with us!!!

So much fun!!!

On Monday we went to the Utah Museum of Natural History up on the U of U campus. I would recommend going to anyone who's children love to learn new things. It was tons of fun and it is great for kids. Their temporary exhibit is about frogs. Their were some really cool frogs. They even had an aquarium you could stand in the middle of to see the frogs and fish underwater.


The boys all time favorite were the dinosaur bones and the area they have to dig for dinosaur bones. They had a rubber puzzle of a T-rex head, and these boys made pretty short work of it!




The excavation area was a really big hit! We almost couldn't get the boys out of it. Our saving grace was the group of older scouts that came and kind of took over the whole 'digging site'. Then they were just fine getting out.




Eoughan laid down in a giant dinosaur footprint, and we decided we are glad that the dino's don't live with us. We would all be a little flat.


I also tried to get the boys to feed the dinosaur at the door because he eats money, and then he talks to you. Neither of them wanted to get very close. Eoughan did get a lot closer than Ethan though. We had a blast, and we are excited to be able to go again. The boys loved all of it.

Broccoli lovers unite!!

Okay. I have strange children. This lets you know just how strange. Thursday night at work, Loren got a produce box. It had a bunch of fruits and vegetables including broccoli. Two large stalks or whatever you call them. The boys each wanted one so they each got one. The picture is what was left when they were done. They were both quite a bit bigger before the boys got a hold of them. Eoughan's is just picked over a little, but Ethan's looks like he was starving and had nothing else to eat!! I laughed so hard when I saw it!! Like I said, I have strange children.

Hooray for the weekend!!

I am so excited for this weekend!! There are so many fun things we are planning!! At this moment however, I am most excited to go grocery shopping! I haven't gone in a couple of weeks, so we are in dire need of groceries. I am just getting ready to load up my boys and head out. Surprisingly, grocery shopping is one of my absolute favorite things to do with the two little monsters. We love to go to Macey's and get chocolate ice cream cones!! MMMMMMMMMM!!! Then we walk up and down every aisle, and just look and talk and goof around. I usually get everything I need, but it is more fun than work. I love my boys!! They are a riot! I will have to let you know how our trip goes.
